I have a 2005 GTO. My OEM 2 piece DS is shot. I have a 1 piece I would like to install. I don't really have the tools. Me and a buddy tried one weekend, but after removing the bolts, we couldn't get it to drop down. Not sure if there is a trick, or if this being a previously up North car, is just stubborn on the underside. I've been quoted anywhere from $65 to $130, but none of the shops can do it for at least a week. If anyone is pretty good and has some tools, I'd throw you $100 to do the swap for me. Thanks.

Steve

Well, I think it is a direct fit. There is one bolt that may need to be dremeled down, as it may be too long. Or could probably just get a shorter bolt. And the seat belt bolts may need to come out. I believe that is the only thing keeping it from just a plain swap. This is all coming from the guy I bought it from. For $50, or even $75 with the bolt issue, I would def take it up there. I do have a couple local's willing to help though as well.
