Multimedia Exchange - snapped some pics of the new co-daily beater

washed the new co-daily beater today so i figured i'd take some pics

backstory is my car is down (since mid feb) doing a motor build amongst quite a bit of other upgrades/clean up and i'm tired of spending $100+ a week in gas in my truck. plus not having a vehicle i can beat the shit out of was making me irritable. a good friend had this and after it got hit in the left front corner he parked it. he needed cash to upgrade to a turbo miata and i needed a new toy so it worked out good for both of us and i got it for a deal. a couple hundred bucks in parts and 20 or so hours of pulling, cutting, and hammering and this is how it sits.

1994 Miata, 130k miles, every maintenance record going back to the original bill of sale from when the car was bought out west. good option package (lsd, headrest speakers, manual trans, etc). bone stock and runs and drives like a champ. and for those interested i have found that a bone stock miata will do burnouts, brake stands, donuts, and can power slide if you really throw it into a corner. all while getting 27+ mpg beating it like it owes you money. no real plans yet except fix the speed dent on the right front quarter as well, possibly paint it, and i have a spare ls1 sitting on a stand staring at me so we'll see where that goes when i finish my car.

Why a miata?

nice beater... my best beater was my 1999 Countor SVT...... friggin thing rolled out and cut curves like a beast.

i too have thought about a DD miata.. If i found one that was in good shape for 1k id probably pick it up too.

he got the turbo one after this one got hit, turns out the turbo one had some underlying issues so it may get parted or sold, and replaced with another turbo one. once you beat the brakes off one of these things youll pretty much always come back to them.

Off topic, what kind of tires and wheels are on the truck?
