Default My M3 vs SRT4, vs Tune only Nismo 370Z

Tonight was looking rough at first for me. I have been itching for some kills. Then by the graces of God. I randomly found a guy from here who introduced me to a few people. Had a great night. Everyone was happy. Shook hands with everyone tonight. I love this place. I wanted to line up with a super clean older (4th gen) SS camaro but he left as me and the Nismo 370Z were negotiating. I am incredibly impressed with how my M3 handled itself against a Nismo 370Z. Finally I can definitely say I am a lot quicker than my 370Z and know it. Now on to the videos. A lot of 40 rolls, 60 rolls, and one 70 roll vs the Nismo. The videos are somewhat dark as they were shot with an Iphone. I apologize but you guys know me. The videos clear up a lot once you start watching them. They are really not bad at all. You can definitely make out what the cars are.

Mods:

M3: VAC Motorsports Ultralight Underdrive Pulley kit, Afe stage 2 intake, shark injector tune.

SRT4: Big FMIC, exhaust, intake, can't remember what else. Stage 2 car.

5.0 Fox: Intake, Exhaust

Nismo 370Z: Tune, 311 WHP on a DJ

I have to admit the M3 is an awesome car. I had an 01 M3 manual that pulled 310rwhp with almost full bolt on's, some can go higher. They are great highway cars and if you start off at the right RPMS its an immidiate pull. Great races OP

Good runs. I'm planning to line up against a nice Nismo 370z my friend has in PA. LOL He asked to run me when I had like 4 people in the car, and a trunkful of paintball equipment weighing over 100lbs easy. I'm going to try and negotiate it for Sunday while I'm out there. LOL

Whats your M3 put down? Curb weight?

You might pull him. Depends on your mods really. If your stock I would expect a good run. If you are modded, you should get him pretty easily. My M3 with a half tank of gas weighs 3420 on a CAT certified scale, I weigh 220 lbs so a race weight of 3640 or so. +- 20 lbs because I may be lighter than 220 now. Power wise I don't know. I have yet to do a dyno session to see where I am at. I would expect on a Mustang dyno to put down anywhere between 275-290 whp. On a DJ probably 300-310 rwhp. Pretty good estimates I would say but slightly on the conservative side. Out of the cars I am beating they are trapping in the 106-109 mph range so I can safely assume I am truly in the 285-295 whp range which is approx 350 crank hp which is safe to assume. This week I would like to do a dyno session.

Well if you want to be technical my SRT4 ha a larger turbo, larger injecors, larger fuel pump and a stand alone fuel system, all which were "bolted on" and it made 375 whp on pump fuel and pulled a few cars on H/C/I TA making 440 rwp. With a tire nodoubt thatcar would have went somewhere high 11s.

Stock, the LS2 in the V averages 340ish on the dyno. I'm guessing around 360-370ish with my headers now from what I've seen. I'll be hopefully getting a dyno tune soon, but the run will be before then.

I was pretty sure I could run him down stock, and I know it'll be a bit worse now. I'm just trying to get it so I'm not severely handicapped and can run him car for car, driver for driver. LOL Not me and a million people and a trunk full of **** vs him by himself.

I weigh about 150ish, my car's curb weight is somewhere around 3860, so race weight would be about 4k.

LOL you do understand SRT4s weigh a good 600-700 pounds lighter than Trans Ams I hope. It was on a .50 trim at 22 psi, I think 750CC injectors but don't remember for sure or the pump, all were not stock. The car ran like a raped ape from a roll but got tired of no tracton under 50 mph so I sold it.
