Default Trim on doors

Has anyone takin the trim pieces of that are on the doors, fender and quarter if so how does it look mine are kinda faded and thought about peeling them off instead of paying the extra money to get them painted ?

most likely u will have to repaint where the trim was after u peel it off

It can be a bitch without the right tools.

repaint..possibly, very good buff job...required. Camaros look ok without them, trans ams im not real sure about.

There has got to be someone who had done it I had the little piece on the drivers side fall off in the car wash and it didn't look to bad

You just peel them off and then you have to remove the adhesive residue. You can buy eraser wheels: http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/astr...e-p-11632.aspx and put them in a drill to remove the adhesive without destroying the paint. But, I am pretty sure the paint will be a slightly different color.

The smoothed look is cleaner in my opinion You can blow em off with a Zero tip on a power washer or a heat gun works Just be careful & Dont burn your paint Take Your Time so you dont peel the paint off

to me it does not look any better or worse. my 94 has them deleted and my 95 still has them.

every car I have ever had I removed them. They lok much better without them IMO
