For the guys who made there own plates. What gauge of steel did you use?

My car sounds COMPLETELY different open vs closed. I wouldnt bother going too thick with the metal. .125 should be more than enough.

I have my plates at home if you are wanting them, just cover the shipping. I put an e-cutout, so I have no use for the plates now. Otherwise, its just the same thickness as the tubing.

And to previous post, it sounds way different open vs closed.
