im looking for someone near roanoke va to change the plugs/wires in my 98 formula firebird

To be honest just do it yourself. All it takes is a 5/8 deep socket, time, and a lot of patience.

dont i need a lift? that seems to be what everyones been saying

U need to jack the car up a little to get to the #8 without removing parts, other than that u can get them all with a socket, extension and ratchet

Just lay up on the intake and pull the coil in the back and get the plug out. I used a swivel socket extension and it worked fine.

You should be able to get most of them with little to no effort, number 8 if you have ramps, use those to get under your car, or just jack it up and get the number 8 from below, hardest part is pulling factory wires off without breaking them...I would buy an extra set while your at it, 2 out of 3 times ive done it now, I have broken at least 1 wire.....

OH and I didn't use any Swivels, but my knuckles are always getting busted

Do it yourself, drivers side is cake and the passenger side is cake except the number 8 plug which you can remove the coil bracket and air system pipe from the exhaust manifold.

I used the same link when I did mine the first time and it wasn't that bad... I dont have bear claws for hands either though lol.

I did mine in 2 hrs first time. All u need is a plug socket. Magnetic would be preferred. A 3" and 1.5 extension only removed the egr filter on passenger side and used ramps.

If you take the psssenger side coil pack off it makes it so much easy. I sprayed WD40 on the plugs so none of the stockers gave me any problems none broke that way

Coil pack needs to come off for me, I'm not Asian. STOCK wires should get stuck on and probably will break. I spend more time dicking with the boot metal covers that I chuck those too. Order a set of LS6 or MSD (which ever your fancy)

Like said 8 sucks but do able, they all are. Just patience. Also if you never took the coil packs off, at the back near the rear of passanger side of the motor, the last coil pack had a double stud. So its off with the nut, bend back the metal braket, and then its a nut/stud combo. DO NOT re install. Throw it out.
