Finally got the car out for the first time this year. Ran a new best 8.76 at 79 mph in an 1/8th. Was having 1.80 60ft, but form what I have seen I should be around 8.30's instead of 8.70's. It is full bolt on, full suspension in the rear, drag radials, some weight reduction off nose (removed air/egr, ac, and impact bar). What could I do to lower et? The car also seems like its not transferring weight, from the crappy vid I have, the car looks like I am just cruising around town instead of a hard launch even though it feels to be hitting pretty hard. Not sure what could help this besides getting some drag shocks, springs, and k-member/reducing weight.

Tune it. A custom tune, not some hyper tech or jet chip crap...

I have a mail order tune from pcmforless and I have ordered a cable to start tuning myself. Hopefully I can gain a little being able to tune while at the track. I also have a 2800 stall, I know its small but its better than stock and 3.73 gears. I guess it probably comes from the stock style shocks and springs not allowing a lot of travel in the front.

That's a small stall, I'd at least go with a 3200 stall in it, be suprised how much it will wake it up.

Is it still an lt1 car? What was the DA?

Yea I know its a small stall, I am looking at getting a new transmission since mine seems to be having some trouble and thought about getting mine restalled or just getting a new one with the trans. I was thinking about going with a 3600.
Yes it is an lt1 car and I'm not quite sure what the DA was because we never checked it.
