Corvette Performance - ZR1 question

Recently spoke to my dad and he is in the market for the zr1 or the new shelby coming out this summer. I have a cts-v so I am not too familiar with the vettes. I was wondering since corvette is redoing their body style for this summer are they also going to be releasing a new zr1 or are they holding off on it? If not are they at least releasing a new z06? Thanks in advance

The base C7 comes out next year, prob will be at least the following year before the Z06 and ZR1 comes out in the C7 body.

So you are looking at least 2 years before those models show up in the new body.
