Corvette Performance - new C5 Z owner!!!

Went and bought a beautiful black Corvette tonight ;)

Man this thing is amazing. NOTHING like my canned '00 SS or '04 GTO. It sounds awesome.. pulls like a freight train, and I only paid $12,100!


Oh look at the pics and tell me if anyone recognizes the exhaust tips as to what catback it may be? The ad sais corsa but they are definitely not corsa tips. There are no muffler in the back where they should be.. but it is in fact a catback, not a hack job straight pipe setup. Its loud! But the tips are butt ugly. Anyone have any idea?


And did I mention I only paid $12,100??? ;)

And yeah I went over it thoroughly.. everything good to go.

Its black, black leather. Stock wheels, new bfg kdw rear tires, catback, and that's about it. Exterior is a 9/10.. almost perfect besides a few tiny rock chips. Interior is a 7/10. Missing the reflector on the passenger door panel, and needs another panel under the steering wheels. Other than that beautiful. Ill post up pics tomorrow

Mileage? I'd expect it to have come with a salvage title and 200K for that price... Cheapest one I've ever heard of.

It has right at 127,500... and nope its a clean title with a clean carfax! Yeah it was by far the cheapest I've ever seen too. The guy advertised it for $13,700 which I thought was awesome.. but I ended up getting him down to $12,100. He had his eye on a Harley and I had cash, so I took off from Atlanta to Birmingham to get it

Nice find and buy. Those pipes look like the first flight of the SLP LOUDMOUTHS. I bought a 2002 Z to replace my totaled 2003 Z and the first thing I did with both of them was flush all the fluids and put fresh diff/trans/motor oil/coolant in it. Also, look at the clutch fluid and keep it fresh. RANGER (google it) has a nice step by step process on keeping the clutch fluid clean. I check mine and clean if necessary after each hard cruise/drive. I like to keep mine clear and clean.

Have fun with it, enjoy it and learn the car as is before modding it. A CAMMED only ZO6 can be a beast. ;)

I would probably take the price out of this thread if you are trying to sell it... You will get low balled if not, trust me.

I also just bought an 03 Z06 from a place in Bham, it only had 22k on it but I paid double what you did this past memorial day weekend, but the next day took it on a roadtrip to the Ocoee for some rafting time and man this thing is so awesome. I could not be happier with the buy on this car, congrats on yours !

Thats an unreal price. Ive never seen one go that low....ever. and I've been in the C5 game for a little while now.
