Yea, I kinda jumped him... But he had punched it a little earlier about 10 minutes before this "race" randomly and I downshifted and punched it and caught him in like literally 1 second lol, its VERY quick for a big ass truck but its no match for my car obviously...

I know he lost to a 600whp+ Evo. He was just having some issues still but from what I here so was the evo.

I was at 480whp that day.

Since the 3 bar map sensor and my 650+rwhp, I haven't lost yet and I've raced over six 700+whp cars.

I need to fix my boost issue and boost 12+ EVERY gear...

Right now its:
1st: 7psi
2nd: 8psi
3rd: 8psi
4th: 12psi

I need to put a stiffer spring in the gate and/or turn up the boost controller to hold 12psi throughout the gears... I know this car has a 145-147 trap in it if I fixed that alone.

I was at 480whp that day.

He's gonna upgrade the turbo for big power and top-end. He just put a 50-psi boost gauge in the car...sort of a good hint.

General rule of thumb is to run the wastegate spring at half of what you plan to run boost wise.

lol, the lakers thought the same thing before they played okc. thats why we race, and not rely on what science or history says should win the contest. that applies for racing, sports, and any other thing where the human factor is involved. i cant speak for dallas cause i just got here, but in houston (domonic toretto voice) its not always the "faster car" that wins the race bro. i've opened my wallet to a slower car and had cars a lot faster than me put money back in it. "so and so car would beat so and so car so there's no point to race" dont fly down there. it may be understood, but never said, cause once its said, you gotta back it up. you gotta give the other man the honor of a straight up race. if he doesn'twant to act on the 95% chance he'll lose to the minvette, that's his call, but in the situation above, you (the minivette) gotta give him that courtesy.

The truck is QUICK (super quick) from a stop, but from a highway roll gets slaughtered... It's not fast.

Edit: I just found out it was on 700rwhp that night. My bad. 800 is race gas, 700 pump...
It should still trap a solid 125 but he was barely slower than my friends 2012 mustang 5.0 with bolt ons & tune (114 trap) from a 60 roll...

that TB would eat your lunch with no passengers and from a Dig. unless you throw on some very sticky tires. you dont have much weight to hold down the power lol

The car is now @ 15psi boost.. around 750rwhp and on drag radials... its around a 145mph trap speed now. It moves out of its own way pretty well now. Only Spins 1st gear...
