The reason I bolded this comment is, you are posting vids of you beating cars you should have no business to beat in a bolt on Evo. In that second vid I don't see how you are beating a full bolt on E85 GT-R from a dig unless he didn't launch his car. I've seen GT-Rs with that setup run low 11's with retarded drivers and seen excellent drivers get low 10's at 130+ on those setups. A kill is a kill but that is something to think about.

That is the reason I mounted my go-pro facing forward because I thought I was gonna get drug. He launched his car at around 3k. The Evo has gotten a 11 sec pass the first and only time I went to the track with this car...

Good.kills..I do think running them from a dig only killed them. Specially the Z06's. And then really low rolls where they sar going to spin. I have raced a built engine, bolt on E85, stock Turbo evo and drug it. I have no fought the cars you raved would do the same.

only race I have an "issue" with is that bike. Bike should trap 140? My buddy raced a stock 1000cc from a dig and by 80 his doors were blown straight off (evo 8/cams/35r/bolt ons/car trapped over 120 and has a helluva driver)

good kills... i wonder about the race with 1200cc bike also. My buddy has as Evo X built by AMS making dayum near 700whp and got stroked by a modded ZX12rr. What all do you have done and who tuned it? Nice runnin Evo!

That's a Bandit, it's a heavy, slow cruising bike.

With mods they trap like 120-122. They only make 100BHP out of 1200cc, nothing like a sport bike that with a few bolt ons can make 200+BHP from 1000cc.

It's a turd with a bad rider on it.

I didn't realize that stock turbo e85 evo's could be that nasty even from a roll. He didn't beat all of them and you can tell that TT camaro was walking him hard. What do I know though I'm not baller enough and only have a single :(

Yeah when I was completely stock. Car use to be slow as fuck. I still have that vid on facebook somewhere lol. I use to run like 13.5, 13.6 in this car trapping at 101 102 at thunder valley. Had 2 glory runs of like 13.0 or 13.2 at 104.

Not dogging on the car for what it is. Just think it's funny that a bolt on evo makes a thread like this. I can understand if the thing is nasty making 600awhp or something and decimating cars. But this guy is in like what... bolt on mach league? :zzz:

I am not sure because I never saw that guy. This one was a Z06(old driver), I think francis just ran a yellow c6.

Yeah Z06's have crazy top end so in this race it was at my advantage. The Yellow Z06 never caught up and we went till 155mph.

I stopped at 120 mph with him, If I kept in it, he would have pulled me very hard. We were door to door at 120 and he kept going.

Thanks, I almost bought a c5 z06 before the evo, love the long gearing on the vettes. Yeah that TT camaro was gonna demolish me after 100mph. I was having issues with changing gears that night and can usually shift much faster and hold the pace much more. but at the end I would have still got to see tail lights.

He was an older guy that doesn't come out often. I asked him if he wanted to run, he said yes (super chill guy). His car is completely stock and he said he wants a rematch after he gets some better rear tires and I am entitled to give that to him.

He is the one that hoked it off and only caught up after I let off... The guy is my friend and told me that there is no way he can launch like that on the street with the launch control set that low. I am launching at 5700rpm, he was at 3 grand.

Yeah Srt neons are cool, just sucks about FWD, I came from a fully bolted on + nitrous RSX-S, it spun till like 90mph so I am done with that FWD thing for now. However, my daily is a fwd and it gets me out of the snow pretty well :)

Buddy of mine had an evo 8 for a daily at one point (to him it was his beater car). 285 cams, evo 9 turbo, bolt ons. Only tracked it once and went 12.0 at 115 in a higher DA. This was all done on 93 octane and no meth. Add some HPs for e85.

There are a couple of guys running low 10's on a stock turbo and 1 person is trying to break into 9's with the turbo (I think his personal best is 10.08 or something like that). That is a really good ETA/trap for 93 and no meth. When I got tuned on e85, I gained about 55whp and like 60lbs torque (on a mustang dyno which shows 15% less than a dynojet)

i wouldnt go by that 15% less then a dynojet thing. Its a load of poo. Its all in the owners dyno calibration that has the effect of lower simulated numbers. The highest ive seen local cars dyno... is a dyno jet. The lowest ive seen local cars dyno...is a dyno jet. We have mustang dynos, land and sea dynos, dyna pack dynos etc etc. The only way to get a good idea of a cars power pick up is just to keep using the same dyno everytime and hope the owner of it actually keeps it calibrated. When i have done logs of my car, it shows about 14% more than what I actually dynoed. Also, with all wheel drive, the drivetrain loss is stupid.

Panama. But 10s on a gravel track with no prep. RWD cars have no chance. Last time on cam only setup (430rwhp) I was only able to get a 13.0@118 (lol). Literally no traction. Track shut down though so I don't know what my current setup runs.

Tonight we are going to have drag on the street but like I said streets here and horrible. So I'm expecting to run like 12s@128mph to be honest. Slicks aren't here yet so won't know true car potential until it gets here.

That evo like I said ran it on a gravel track. It's easily a 9 second car in the US. Maybe a 9.9 run or so. Very very badass evo. Also the quickest 1/4 mile record in the country is a 9.97 run by a 640awhp subaru. After that is a 9.98 run by a N/A drag vette thats pushing like 900rwhp or something on a big shot. Really crappy country for drag and majority of people don't have over 250rwhp/fwhp/awhp lol. I hit 550rwhp on 5psi and people were like OMG DUDE THATS CRAZY. When I threw the 632 they were so shocked I thought they'd jizz themselves.

A stock turbo isn't going to hurt a stock bottom end. I know plenty of guys making way more power than you on stock DSM bottom ends, which aren't as good as the Evo stuff.

One in particular had over 600 passes at 550+whp, then he cranked it to 40psi and put it in the 9s. Eventually the block cracked, but after 20 years, a ton of miles on the street and several hundred track passes with a big T4 turbo the rotating assembly was still just fine.

Your forty-something pound turbo isn't going to stress a stock rotating assembly, especially with the knock resistance of E85.

Sounds like he is either babying his trans or doesn't know how to drive or his tuner fucked him by not setting up his launch control. The latest launch control for the GT-R launches at 3750rpms and launches a lot harder than that. Also I like how you cut off just before you are about to get destroyed.

Not sure which video everyone is watching, but the Evo took the hit. GTR babied it off the line caught and passed Evo before the 1/4 mile. So in reality that was impressive that the GTR let him go and passed him like that.

Haha, that is awesome. 632whp is a great number to be street driven and also be able to put some hurting on most the cars. And I know, most of the people that actually know how the street racing world is, are usually open minded. Alot of the muscle car drivers are usually closed minded because they live with the quote "Aint no replacement for displacement" lol

I don't have problems with these all wheel drive cars.. I beat plenty of them on the streets!!

A stock turbo isn't going to hurt a stock bottom end. I know plenty of guys making way more power than you on stock DSM bottom ends, which aren't as good as the Evo stuff.

One in particular had over 600 passes at 550+whp, then he cranked it to 40psi and put it in the 9s. Eventually the block cracked, but after 20 years, a ton of miles on the street and several hundred track passes with a big T4 turbo the rotating assembly was still just fine.

Your forty-something pound turbo isn't going to stress a stock rotating assembly, especially with the knock resistance of E85.

here I posted a link. My camaro is stock except for lid, bald firestones and 2.73 rear to boot. Not trying to flame but this is more typical of 4 cylinder power on a sticky track. the smaller motor just can't generate enough torque to pull it out of the hole. It needs to be heavily modded and lightened to have a chance. The in car camera car is an acura integra with a few boltons and dyno tune.

My friends little brothers bolt on E85 evo ran 11.7 or 11.9 (cant remember) at 115 with bolt ons. He through 272s in it and broke 400 on the dyno with a stock Evo 9 turbo. He just sold the car he got a new 5.0 though :P Nice upgrade IMO.

My buddies Evo cost us money last night... 700 per race and well... you see the outcome. From what i got its a C5 with heads/cam/stall and Mickey Thompsons ET streets... Evo got crushed out the hole then next race got a car and half and... well...smh

Panama. But 10s on a gravel track with no prep. RWD cars have no chance. Last time on cam only setup (430rwhp) I was only able to get a 13.0@118 (lol). Literally no traction. Track shut down though so I don't know what my current setup runs.

Tonight we are going to have drag on the street but like I said streets here and horrible. So I'm expecting to run like 12s@128mph to be honest. Slicks aren't here yet so won't know true car potential until it gets here.

That evo like I said ran it on a gravel track. It's easily a 9 second car in the US. Maybe a 9.9 run or so. Very very badass evo. Also the quickest 1/4 mile record in the country is a 9.97 run by a 640awhp subaru. After that is a 9.98 run by a N/A drag vette thats pushing like 900rwhp or something on a big shot. Really crappy country for drag and majority of people don't have over 250rwhp/fwhp/awhp lol. I hit 550rwhp on 5psi and people were like OMG DUDE THATS CRAZY. When I threw the 632 they were so shocked I thought they'd jizz themselves.

And once again I was just joking with you. Nice car you have. I have a secret love for evos. Always wanted one. The only car on here that I will religiously say that is slow and a piece of shit is the mach1.

My next round of hotrodding will involve a notchback or LX hatch foxbody...although I really like the look of my car from the front with the RR hood/Cobra bumper combination.

I know Stacio and we have some runs planned if every thing works out. And I sent open invites to guys with JDM cars. None showed. Go figure. And I have seen them cars run in person.Fully built cars and only 9's. Not impressed.

EVOs can be sweet like anything else. I beat pretty much your exact car with around 400whp. It was a good race. But the owner was still pretty cocky after the fact talking up his "new" turbo setup.
