Street Racing & Kill Stories - Not fair, but he wanted to run (STOCK VS NOT)

Met this guy at the local carwash... Was heading my way off the access road near my house, and went at it from a 40 roll.

His Mods... Lid.
Bone stock formula A4, with ws6 hood and rear wing.

We did two more, with pretty much the same result. Quality sucks, had to manage phone, honks and driving.

Its not that hard... Keep your eyes on the road, rotate your phone, take your best guess and hope you film something. :fluffy:

02 LS1, 224 cam, shorty headers, cut out, lid, built A4 Trans, 3800 Vig, Free mods and Tune.

My Long tubes and Y pipe should be in the mail. Hope it wakes up the car a bit more. But you have to remember my ride from *Rising from the Ashes* thread. No?

Actually, I've noticed my A4 lags alot from a 40 roll, 30 is a bit better. One thing i found out after the retune for stall, is that my shift points are way to low, and need to be up'd to 6400 RPM, and maybe up the rev limiter to 6700.

I could of pulled him a lil worst than that, lol.

Yup a4 cars have some terrible dead spots...but holding a gear, or running 3rd and punching it on the second honk, (which doesn't get you moving till the third honk is over :bang:) gets you in the game even on a stock 'verter.

I've been trying that, even going down to 1st from a 30 roll, works good but have to be fast to shift to 2nd.

Still taking it easy, this new trans is about 1,100 miles in. So dont want to give it too much abuse.
