Looks like you are serious. Should run good. What have you done to the back end?

You'll be luck if you don't blow the welfare on your intake and loose that peice of diamond plate you have bolted on the passenger floor the first time you run it lol

No, but seriously man you have got a sick sweet set up there!

What heads are on that thing? You've got some serious compression there.

What converter are you running? I've lost a few very well built a4's because of the converter clutch going out, then taking out the front pump....then you know what happens lol.

Yup, found out first hand when my 3400 ptc spit shavings into my 60e. I now have a Vigilante 4000 stall in it. The converter already feels night and day better than the ptc i had before. Can't wait to get to the track with it.

Did you make any passes before the trans started to give out? The most popular swap seems to be the 4l80e. You could also just have your 4l60e sent in and built. Btw your car is sick!

yes made three passes 1st spun full 1/8 mile well chirpping tires for the big end half
second I ran a 4 eyed stang on the bottle to my motor spun for about 75' then drug his ***
third run was a motor pass also against a supercharged nitrous fed silverado with my wife driving my car. I should of turned the bottle on for her.

Thanks for the compliment man the old car is fun to drive when it's not shitting parts

I know several people that have done the th400 swap in their f-bodies, and if I ever go auto ageing that is the way I would do it....but after 4 tranny swaps in mine (dead 4l60s) I swapped to a good old 3 speed Saginaw manual
