The spring mfr provides the specs for close and open pressures. If you are pulling one to test and its out of spec, time to replace.

As long as you have hardened pushrods.... You can go pretty far
It's not uncommon to see hardcore racers upwards of 800lbs open and 300 lbs closed with no issues...
The rocker and the lifters start to become the failing point..
Stock lifters start to collapse around pressures of near 500 open...stock rockers start to break around 600 ish
Throw in some good Morel lifters and an upgraded adjustable rocker and that issue goes away well past what most people will do

TFS pushrods are just comp cams push rods with their name printed on them...so thats all fine and well

stock rockers with Trunion doesnt really change the breaking point, but you are less than the breaking point anyways

ls7 lifters are about the same as ls1 lifters.. they are still just stock lifters...
either way... you are still far less than the failure point from pressures.

Just for reference, Im running stock rockers, with LS7 lifters (EPS 227/230) with my PRC EHT .675 duals. Closed spring pressure is 157@1.8" and open is 471@1.125".

Actually Im not even sure Comp makes their own pushrods. There is one company (cant remember the name) but they make a good amount of PRs for quite a few companies.
