Corvette Performance - z06 maf

I have a 2000 c5 and I bought a 02 zo6 maf so my question is would it make run weird ( shity, slower) with it without a tune or it doesn't matter and help my car?

For it to work properly, the MAF tables in your PCM tune have to be changed.

There are some differences, look at your electrical plug. You can follow this link to convert it. For the record, 01 and up c5s also have 85mm MAFs. The zo6 02 and up are 85mm with no screens. I descreened my 85mm before I tuned.
