Title says it, seems like a good deal and I heard these perform pretty well. Thoughts???http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-NEW-275-40-18-NITTO-NT555-EXT-40R-R18-TIRE-/360452910463?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Section+Width%3A275|Aspect+Ratio%3A40|Rim+Dia meter%3A18&hash=item53ecaaed7f&vxp=mtr

I got my NT-555's from discounttiredirect.com and I love them. I think you saw them in action at Maple Grove...they stick very well and are priced right.

I keep hearing good things about these invos but are they worth it at an extra 130$ for the set?

From what I hear, NT-555s are terrible in the wet. Recommend Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 for great dry and excellent wet performance.

Disclaimer: opinion based on reviews. I'm running BFG g-force KDW 2's (came with the car), which reviewed a little lower than the Hankook tires and are a little heavier and more expensive. I have hours of experience with them at above 75 mph in heavy rain with no issues, so if the Hankook tires rated better in the wet, that's excellent.

I've got the exact tire you're lOoking at 275/40/18 nitto triple 555's and no complaint from me what's so ever and I drive rain sleet or snow. Just don't try an skip across that lake in the middle of the freeway

I'm running the nitto 555's on my stock wheels. 275/40 in the rear and 255/40 up front. No complaints. Good tire for the money, good looking tread pattern, they hook decent and don't wear too quickly. Good in the wet and dry.

I have hankook v12's on my true forged wheels. Also a very good tire! Used them before and I agree with the statements above about them. Excellent tire for the money! Invos are nice as well but for the money, I'd run 555's.

Another thing to know... Hankooks run just a tad wider in comparison to nittos. Not a big difference but I prefer the slightly wider tire in the same size so I'd save the money and get a bad ass tire and run the hankooks.

I have never had a problem in rain with the nt-555's, no hydroplaning whatsoever. I'm very confident driving in the rain, I'm not sure where the info came from about them being terrible in the wet.

Also, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again, there's hard to beat for the price.

I've seen posts and heard people say they suck in the rain and I don't get it either. Every set I've owned of the 555's have been great in both wet and dry conditions.
