Mine is stuck on floor and won't change. I did a search but didn't find anything for f bodies. Anyone know where it is and how much of a pain it is to get to?

There is a cable that runs from the knob to a flapper in the ductwork that diverts air from the A/C condenser or the heater core.
If you take off the lower IP cover on the passenger side, you can get to it. There should be a round plate where the cable comes in. If you unscrew that plate, you should be able to see where the cable attaches. You'll want to make sure its there and you can see it move.
BTW - You'll want to be careful and take a picture before you mess with it. There is a spring that grabs the wire, which you can use for fine adjustment.
Normally, you can hear the flapper "clunk" when you move from all cold to all hot and vice versa. If you don't hear that clunk, you could have an issue at the knob or the flapper.

try looking under the hood, around the PCM. there will be a small vacuum T in the area. It may be broken. Theres been quite a few people with this issue (including my moms 2000 Z28)

Please disregard this. I misread and was thinking temperature problem. A vent problem would be vacuum.

Found the problem, one of the vacuum fittings I used when I hooked up my gauges disintegrated. That's what I get for buying shit from advance, it didn't even last a thousand miles. Oh well at least it's something small and I don't have to tear into the dash.
