Road Racing - A&A Corvette autocross video. 5/27/2012.

At the last minute, I decided to go to Camarillo Airport Sunday for an autocross. It's not really a race, just a practice day. I think I was 3rd overall out of 50 cars. I wanted to practice more car control, so I went as cheap and easy as possible. No race tires, wing, or splitter. Just some old street tires. It's a real handful for sure, and would probably never do that again. We got permission to re-do the entire track from Saturday's layout. It was actually pretty fun. Bonus video at the end. Talk about embarrassing.

That grass looked perfectly fine. What possessed you to go and mow it? LOL. Looks like she just snapped away from you real quick. Might want to reconsider leaving the wing on. Nice video.

In the morning we re-arranged the track to our liking from Saturday's event. I setup the slalom to close to the edge of the track. So I went back and moved it in more. I thought to myself, no one will go off the track here. Then like an idiot, I do.
