Didnt really know where to put this thread but what is the cheapest and most effective way to increase horsepower. I have a 2000 z28. I already have a magnaflow exhaust amd a k and n air filter. I was thinking about a cold air intake. Any suggestions guys? Thanks!

This isn't the forum for you.

A simple air lid will meet or exceed all the gains a full on cold air intake could offer. Gears would offer the most bang for your buck and the biggest improvement you could get considering where your at now.

I like 410s for a M6 or 373s for an auto.

On a 2000, I'd do some non-emissions longtubes/Y to mate up to your exhast, a lid, an LS6 intake, and a matching tune for it all.

Gears are good and bad...if he does a lot of highway miles the stock 3.42 with an M6 are pretty good...if it's an auto without a 3.23 already then I'd change them too.

I like 410s for a M6 or 373s for an auto.

I agree with those choices if it's a weekend car and/or not on the highway a ton.
