Default ls6 pcv mod.has anyone been successful?

been searching and searching.i dont think ive found one thread where someone was able to eliminate oil from their intake with this mod.i think it makes it better.and in theory it works, but has anyone been able to eliminate oil consumption totally with this mod?im about to buy one,but might just get a catch can instead.thanks

The ls6 PVC system is better than the ls1 but not completely oil free. I upgraded to the ls6 system as well as a catch can and that keeps the intake dry. Catch can collects a fair amount of oil even with the ls6 system

An upgrade to LS6 valley mod and a catch can yielded a half-inch of oil in the can after 1200 miles. There is no oil film at all within the intake.
I didn't own the engine before the mods, but the intake arrived with a thick film of oil within.

thats what i wanted to hear.i guess i'll have to install an ls6 valley pan and throw in a catch can between the vally pan and the throttle body.seems like that is the only sure fire way to keep the intake dry.

and i guess any ole catch can will do.im thinking about one of the cheap ones on fleabay.correct me if im wrong...
