UPDATE 2: Does anyone know if the location of the MAF matters?
UPDATE: Also my steering seems to get stiffer with the A/C one and rpms drop to 500rpm and it sometimes revs by itself in a way so it doesn't die???
Ok so its wierd but every time i turn on my A/C on my car it feels really heavy and slow, also not sure if im overheating but some days my car feels faster than others, and it seems to happen during the morning it feels faster and feels slower during the day?
Also my tips are black and I think im running rich since I have a cutout and when I "unbolted the cap" from the cutout it was pure black???
Here is a video of my car running 1 year and a half ago when I bough it

Cooler denser air in the morning.

the a/c does add more strain on the engine. if you notice when you are cruising and you turn on the a/c you notice the engine work alittle harder just because of the extra resistance and your cut out will be black. its built up carbon.. exhaust isnt clear like youd think

AC definately doesn't help horsepower. No ac in this car but it made my old LT1 sluggish as shit

what are you asking about the maf for? i know its directional but where would you even relocate it to? you dont really have a place to do it. you can get a SD tune and completely get rid of it but thats kinda pointless on a stock engine

A/C compressors soak up a ton of power. Almost like running a procharger without the sweet power gain effect. But, I guess the cool air on 100 degree days is a good trade off.

so hard steering with the a/c on is normal?

I have the same problem. It seems when my a/c is on and its still not warm my car wants to cut off. I do have a H/C/I set up but its been fine up until recently. I was driving home and my power steering went out after I heard some weird sounds. I get home and my a/c pulley is shredded and both belts had came off. Replaced both belts and pulley but it seems to still want to cut out. never had this problem until the belts flew off. Ideas?

Sounds to me like when the AC kicks on the idle drops, right? If the idle drops then the power steering pump slows down which will make the steering seem a little more resistant. Does it get better the faster you go?

Exactly thats what happens to me exactly that

When parked my car will idle about 900 rpms when i turn a/c on it goes from 900-500 and back and forth for about 15 seconds then stableizes but it wants to cut out constantly and its been tuned it just happened when i changed belts could my belt be a different size then it was before and that could mess with the timing and tune?

Well mine does exactly what kyoytey said wierd mine drops to 500rpms and it goes slowly down and up

it takes power to run the a/c compressor,
so thats why it drops.
takes more for the motor to run it

I bet your car has a tune in it and its a shitty one. I would go have it checked.

it was dyne tuned with a y band and was done by a extremely respected member of the tuning community. I trust his tune so any other ideas since it happened only after my belts came off and I replaced them?

Well thats fine and good, if you trust him, you trust him but I have seen A/C "On" issues related to power/driveability issues which typically need datalogging and minor fixing over time, not in the initial power tuning session.

But the problem has not come up for about 3 months since it has been tuned, only after my belt flying off and me replacing it has the symptoms occurred. So would it not be maybe the length of the belt or the type of belt i replaced it with. I know that is probably a long shot but could it be possible the length of my belt is different so my tune is a little off? Also it was tuned in maryland and I am now in Florida, could the altitude and weather change effect it as well. I am a bit of a noob so that is why I ask and why i am posting here. Thanks for your replies

It really sounds like a tune issue drew bot. I would have it checked. The length of belt is highly unlikely to be the issue unless it's way too long, but if that was the case, I would imagine you could hear it slipping. Does the tensioner stop about mid way through it's travel when it contacts the belt? If so, the belt is good.

if anything its a bit tight the tensioner only moves back about an inch when I take off the tension. But i tried a 755 and it was 2 short and I could not fit it on so i grabbed a 760 and it fit but was kinda tight should i get a 765 and give it more slack.I just cannot get past the fact that it started once i changed the belts is all.

If it's too short it may cause some slip under hard acceleration but that isn't the issue you are descibing. I know it seems coincidental to you but trust us, the issue you are dealing with isn't the belt. I have fought issues like this in the past too. I know how mind bending it can get but in your case I will say with 99% certainty that it's not a belt issue.

okay well when it rains it pours. Just did an oil change about 1k miles ago when i went through my 2 cycles of oil for the new crate engine and today my low oil light came on and i was about 2 quarts low...does this add anything to the equation?

Man sorry to hear that but it sounds like an unrelated issue as well. Sounds like something else to chase down. Start with the simple and basic things to troubleshoot first. Look for the obvious first.
