Drag Racing Tech - Drag radials or slicks

I have a c6 that traps a 140 + would drag radials or slicks be a better choice to go with as far as safety is concerned?

What drag radial would you go with for a 17×8.5 inch rim

I would get drag radials that's just me. What ever you get you get need a big side wall to absorb the initial hit.

With the independant rear... You will absolutely be better off with a slick 99.9 % of the time... Try to put a 16 or 15 inch rim on so you can get a real tire on it... 28 inch tall min would also be a good idea.
