I recently got a 2000 head and cam camaro. It has long tubes with no o2 sensors but I need to pass De inspection. Any cheap suggestions?

It has no oxygen sensors? or doesn't have the rear two?
yes just have the pipes tapped and weld on a bung on both, and install the o2 sensors. then either have the car tuned to remove the rear o2 sensors from its memory no check engine light.or if you have convertors still then do the same again behind the catts and install another o2.

Just have the two front sennsors put in and have the rears programmed out putting llong tubes and a cat on it will push your cat pretty far back. My question is does your state use a sniffer or just do the OBDII test? If it only does obd then you can get by without the cats no problem at all

What state do you have inspections / emissions.
It does matter.

If its obdII then a good tune can get you by with pretty much anything. I dont have headers but i am running with no cats and just front o2 sensors with a tune to turn off the rears. Ive been an inspector in nc for a year bbbut i live in sc so inspection isnt an issue for me but i did an inspection on my car to see if the setup would pass OBDII testing and sure enough it did so unless your state is using sniffers id say go catless and get yourself a good tune

I lived in maryland and i passed easy with a good tune. MD has one of the strictest emissions in the country

When it comes to OBDII testing all that matters is what the cars computer tellls the tester

Hey guys, it was actually the rear o2's and my tuner yesterday just deleted them from the memory. so problem solved.
But during the tune a new problem came up. The first pull it made 377 which wasnt too bad. The tuner added some fuel and took out timing because he said it was detonating. So he made the changes and took another pull. Half way through the whole car started vibrating violently....The clutch is completely shot and it slips in normal driving. My tuner estimated like 410 at the wheels when he can actually tune it.
So what im asking is whats the best clutch to get, and what all do i need in a kit? Also some suggestions on how to swap the clutch would be nice. Sry to b so needy
Monster stage 2 or ls7 clutch kit would be my choice at your power level. ls7 will be cheaper but doesn't hold as much power.

thanks, do you have any idea what an ls7 clutch is rated at? and which of the two has a heavier feel? i heard the ls7 clutches feel stock and I always liked heavy clutches
