21 bucks and just make sure you can pass the OBD2 plug in test. It's not hard with the right tune. If you can't, it's pretty hard to sneak a car through or do an "inspection" ;) ;) no matter how friendly the place is, since the DMV computer taps right into your ECM, and the VIN and registration has to line up. There's really no easy way I can see to bypass that. He can give you the window sticker, but without a valid OBD2 pass, the NYS DMV will suspend your registration automatically.

Also holy shit, just found out where Salmanca NY is. Coming from San Antonio that's going to be quite the adjustment come winter time!

Car can pass the obdII part no problem. All codes and what not for my long tubes have been cleared. What I'm worried about I'd emissions. Car has ms3, intake and long tubes..., with some spray.

I'd heard that they had cameras in your inspection bays up there? true or false?

I say false around here. I'm from Erie county ( buffalo) and you just have to find the right crowd/ friends lol. Welcome to NY btw!

If it can pass obd2 you are pretty much set. If the place busts your chops about headers or a lumpy cam, find another place. But for emissions obd2 is all that matters. No tailpipe sniffer or anything like that here.
