For those of you that have changed them, throw some times at me for the passenger side mount. I changed the drivers mount at a shop 6K ago but never got a chance to do the passenger side. Planning to tackle it on monday. Heard it takes longer than the drivers side??? Anyone know approximately how long? Are we talking closer to an hour or four? Thanks in advance

4 at least.
You have to remove the header at least and the starter is in the way.
Although I have heard of people doing it without removing the header, but not my luck.

I'd say the passenger side is easier considering there's no steering box to deal with. Otherwise they both take about the same amount of time to do. However, you'll probably be able to do it faster now that you know exactly what to do. Second time around is always easier.

That depends stock headers your looking at about a hour. Aftermarket headers you have to take
Them off so more like 2-3

man...well that just sucks cause I do have headers on now but didn't when I did the first one. Anyone do them without taking the pacesetters off? And off topic could I be getting wheel vibration at higher speeds as in 55+ because of the mount or is it likely something else?

Just did mine last night. Pacesetters and I had to pull the driver manifold but not pass. Unbolt the mount from the cradle and block. Get the bottom mount nut with extensions between the control arm and cradle. Then twist it around and reach over the arm to get the top one. I pulled the mount out but left the metal pieces loose in the engine bay.
Pull the mount out from the front over the control adm. Umm and Uuc both cleared this way.

Only a hair bigger than the Uuc. Won't hurt to try my way. You have to take that much apart either way.

I did my two engine mounts and transmission mount on one ramp (since they are too large) and took four hours! The largest problem was I had no room underneath to move, so anything that required extra effort was tough, but if you have a proper jack or low profile ramps, you probably will do it in less then 1 hour for one. I did not have to remove anything... everything is basically stock on the car. The transmission mount was the biggest hassle since it was larger then stock (Creative steel), and too a lot of pushing and pulling!

If you haven't checked out the revshift mounts you should, only $150 for the motor and $50 for the trans. https://www.revshift.com/shop/bushings-mounts/cadillac.php
I just installed these on mine, however I pulled the whole motor for other mods so swapping these out was cake.
I did find that the bolt on the lower metal mount on my passenger side was almost completely rusted through so I replace that mount as well. If you're doing it and can pull that mount I would check it, if the bolt breaks your fancy new mounts in the middle will be worthless!

Who replaces just one motor mount?
Usually if one is bad.....the other isn't far behind.
Then you installed headers and didn't do the other mount when it was easy.
Hope you learned from this
Awalys do motor mounts in pairs
