Default LT1 to LS1, tach reading off

Harness and computer is a 98' with a T56, everything looks great and all the factory gauges work, except the tach reading is about 1,000 rpm off. What to do ? Do i have to have something changed in the tuning process ?

I have this same problem. I was told it could be fixed using HPTuners.

Yes you can fix it inthe tune, the Merv has said it many times. You have to change the reading of something.
