98 Z/28 hard to start just bought a 98 Z/28 M6 from a guy in mobile. He's on here, just don't know what his user name is.
Sometimes when I go to start the car, it spins and doesnt crank, sometimes it does crank but runs choppy for a few seconds, like it has a cam. Most of the time it cranks up just fine. also, at an idle, its not smooth like every one of my other 10 Ls cars I've owned. not really choppy, just you can feel a slight vibration/shake would be the best way I could describe it. The car never misses per say, and the CEL never comes on.....
The mods I was told are: Long tubes, no cats, Magnaflow, LS6 intake, lid, Ported polished TB. In my mind, the car has to have some type of tunimg/pcm parameters changed due to no CEL with smog system/EGR/cats/O2's being removed....
And just in case you know who he is, I am completely happy with the car and he gave me a great deal.
