I just swapped the rearend outta my 95 Camaro 3.4 for the rear from a 2000 Z28 for the disc brakes and posi. The ujoint caps essentially fell apart when I seperated the driveshaft from the rear so I'm looking to replace it. I cannot for the life of me figure out which I need.
From searching around I found that I want either a Spicer or Precision non-greasable but what model number? There both stock GM 10bolt rears and I still have the steel two-piece driveshaft. I can't seem to find Spicers anywhere and I read something about Precision 234 but when I checked with Bond Auto they said it should be a 534G:eek2:
Also I'm assuming the ujoints are the same for all 4th gens correct? So I shouldn't need some conversion joint to mate up the 95 driveshaft with a 2000 rear would I?
I'm also looking to swap the driveshaft for a 1-piece aluminum one soon so would I be able to reuse this ujoint aswell?
