As far as I can tell, timing looks REALLY conservative below 1600. Anyone else have any thoughts?

What base tune file did you start with?

i believe i started with a stock 4.8l tune and then followed HPTuners videos to convert it to an SD tune. since then i havent really messed with it axcept for turning off some of the check engine lights. i dont have my wideband hooked up to the HPTuners but i can log a little bit of it running and driving up the street.

Yeah....get the W/B hooked up and logging....then post a log file here. I'm sure that you'll get MUCH more useful replies from others once they are able to see a good log file.

There's A LOT more not right in his tune....it's currently too much for me to sort out (I'm still learning too)...but there appears to be incorrect TQ control settings, pe adder settings, ect. I'm kinda curious as to why no O2s? The tune does not appear (at least to my eyes) to be set up correctly for OLSD.

Also curious how he's been "tuning" much of anything at all without a w/b logging?

Looking forward to seeing a log file.

Yeah like i said i dunno what was on the ecu. It was supposed to be a stock 4.8l 6spd tune and then i followed whatever steps HPTuners video showed for converting it to SD. Then i just went thbrough and turned off some of the check engine lights. I have a wideband hooked up but just not hooked up to hptuners yet. I gotta look up where the 2 wires go on the HPTuners again so i can hook it up.

I am a newb to tuning and this is why im asking for help.
