Street Racing & Kill Stories - my z28 vs mid-late 90's stang GT convert.

Getting ready to pull out on to the Main rd from a side street and I see a Mustage gt convert. across the street trying to pull out as well. Driver was 20ish and had has girlfriend (i assume) in the passenger seat. I was turning left so I waived for him to go first. He dumps the clutch and pulls out sideways, while looking at me. Ok, lets have some fun. So we let traffic get ahead a little bit and go from a 35 roll. I immediately begin pulling on him. When I got to around 80 I already had a few cars on him so I let out of it. He eventually got back beside me and stares straight ahead, refusing to look over (though his girl was smiling and checking out my car). Then he turned on the next street.

I have lost multiple races, and I always try to talk to the other guy and see his mods etc. But some people really dont take losing well.

M6 not a4, Stock ls6 intake (car is 2002). 25% UD pulley, cheap long tube headers, 3in ofy and hooker muffler, p&p stock throttle body, slp lid. I think that's it

good kill.i re ember when i had my 97 gt vert i would always pick on ls1 cars (knowing that i was gonna lose) just for fun .and ye got my ass kicked.never with my gf..lol didint wanna look bad..only once i lost to a ls1 t/a .:(

That was with a tune. It has cheap ass long tubes and a pos ofy ( both were on the car when I bought it). I know those can't be helping power, and the 348 was with timing backed down for the n2o

What is it about the vanilla ice era 5.0's thinking they are hot shit?! In the past month alone I've had two "races" with stock ish foxes. I sprayed my 100 shot on both, knowing how light they are, and because if they want some of the GTO, they must have lots of mods or a swap... In both cases I was wrong. By the top of 2nd/start of 3rd I had 30+ YARDS on both. The latter had a HUGE aluminium wing as well.

I had same thing with a 2006 GT when I had my G8. He had a blower. I had bolt ons. HAHA..He was in shock.
