Default AS&M Headers - where to buy dual cat Ypipe?

I purchased a set of AS&M headers that have a catless ypipe and in MA I should have a catted option for inspections (visual). I bought a cat to weld in, but wanted to see where I may be able to buy a dual cat ypipe for it as they can be pretty **** here. I know I can run o2 sims.

I checked AS&M; they don't have them. I thought I recalled RK Sport maybe had them, but they don't seem to be interested in performance these days, only looks.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Thanks!

Yea, you just need to go to a competent exhaust shop and get a custom one made. I had to have this done with some pacesetter mid-tubes due to y-pipe interference with a 7qt oil pan; it was $200 for a custom y-pipe. They can put cats in it too of course..... I also had to have a custom y-pipe made for my LS1 firehawk to make it street legal in NC....since the SC previous owner put an ORY on the dealership had to pay about $450 for a custom 3" dual catted y in order to sell the car legally in NC. Just make sure they know what they are doing and keep it tucked up as high as possible.

You wont find one so you have to make something. Also cant see doing a dual cat ASM Y-pipe do to tight space from the driver side header. Single cat behind the y-pipe is cake but then again you are a 96 OBD2 so that might not fly.

I was planning on using the round 'bullet' style cats (magnaflow makes them, I think). I'll check with a shop and see what they would charge me.

I called them a few months ago about that same y-pipe and the response was "...we havent made those in years. Oops, guess we need to update the website..."

Thanks for the help guys; I'll contact my shop and see what they say on a custom one. Past that I'll weld in my bullet cat and use o2 sims.

Summit sells some pretty short round (bullet style) cats like you say just get 2 and weld them in yourself or have someone weld them into your y pipe with some o2 bungs in. You could have it all done for under $200. Thats what I plan to do to my 96.
