Default Pulling timing for Nitrous

I'm all finished up installing my N.O. plate kit on the car. I jetted it for a 100 shot and am getting ready to pull some timing. The car was tuned for the current N/A mods and I'm wondering if I can just pull 4* and watch the AFR and it be safe. Window switch is set to start spraying @ 3000 til 5800rpm. I was just going to pull the 4* starting at 2800 til 6000rpm. This is a M6 car btw.

if the car is tuned it probably has timing added. Pulling 4 out from the tune you have now might not be enough. Not sure get together with your tuner if you had someone tune it and ask him. Do you have a wideband?

That's what I was wondering. I do have a wideband.

No you can not just pull 4 and be safe. Pull 4 from what, 28,27,26 degs if you at 28 and pull 4 you get a different number than if your at 24 and pull 4. The only 100% way to be safe is to read your plugs. Whats your NA timing now? Its always best to pull more and slowly add .5-1 deg back in, but if you have to read your plugs to do that.

Sorry, post was a little hard to follow. I'm not sure where the timing is now, but I will check. I know I need to check the plugs, just wondering if that I should start at. Would 23* at the most on the shot be a too high of a starting point?
