Fueling & Injection - Autometer Fuel Press. gauge not working...

Normally,
when I turn the key on, the needle would do a full sweep and then show fuel press. before I start the car. Now, it goes down to zero, then up alittle and back to zero. The car runs ok. When I unplug the sender, the needle will go to 100, I plug it back in and the needle goes back to zero again. Not sure whats going on with it, Could the sending unit be bad? It has a 4590-0023-12 0-100 sending unit which it what came with the phantom gauge originally.

Let me know, I want to get this thing fixed.

Mine just started to do the same thing I don't want to spend $80 on a sender and end up needing another $200 gauge

Contact autometer direct. They programmed the gauge to do different things depending on what needs replacing. Sounds like your actual gauge unit needs repair or replacement.
