Get New Pushrods
I was reading a thread about new components when installing a cam and somebody said to just keep the stock pushrods because if the valves ever hit the pistons, the pushrods bend, not the valves.
So my question is, should I buy new hardened pushrods, or are the stockers ok.
And also is it better to stay with the stockers incase I do touch a piston to a vavle?
I am giong to have a 224/224 .561 .561 114lsa, with the Manley spring/retainer kit, new rollmaster chain,ls6 oil pump.

Didn't think about the higher spring tension. Good catch I was also trying to save $100 on my install and I didnt see anything better about hardened. Thanks
