General Maintenance & Repairs - Passenger side turn signal/DRL not working, but parking lights work?

I have done a search on the board about this and am a little confused. Basically It sounds like it is either something to do with the DRL module behind the radio or flasher/blinkers under the dash. When I turn my parking/headlights on, both amber bulbs light up just fine. When the car is running with the e-brake off, I only have the driver's side DRL on, the passenger one is off. When I try to use my blinkers, the driver's side one works just fine, but the passenger side lights up the green arrow on the dash and just stays lit. I changed the bulb on Saturday so I know it is not the bulb and because it lights up when I turn the parking lights on, it can't be the socket. Does this sound more like a flasher issue under the dash or the DRL module behind the radio? I would like to not have to spend a ton of money on a module for something that isn't even required by law but would like the functionality of my blinker back. Thanks for any help

I have the same problem on the C6... passenger side too :suspicious:

The blinker on the dash and the rear turn signal flash about twice as fast... when the headlights are on it lights up tho... WTF?!

What happenes when you use your hazards? That will tell you wherre the problem is.

Hazards - the passenger side amber light does not light up. So either BOTH my flasher/blinker things under the dash are bad or it is the module, which sounds more like the module, right?

sounds more like the module, right?

Yes, indeed.

Is there any way to get the blinker to work without buying a module, like a ghetto rigging that can get me by?

The problem is a bad relay in the module. Theoretically... you should be able to crack the module and just replace the relay. (If you can find the part.)
