Do you have oil at the rockers when idol ? not alot but should be some ,if yes then most likely the oil pressure sensor could be bad . i broke mine putting the engine in the car . just my 2 cents

definatly check for oil at rockers when at an idol, if the gauge is right and your not getting oil pressure, that rebuilt engine isnt gonna last too long lol.
I broke mine when i was putting my engine back in aswell. switched to a mechanical gauge which i trust much much more.

Get a mechanical gauge on it. When dealing with the factory setup you have the sensor and the gauge in the cluster that could act up and give false impressions.

Far as "rebuilt" from what I have seen "rebuilt" is as much an opportunity for something to be screwed up as it is an opportunity for improvement. It should be a good thing but all too often things get halfassed and screwed up.
