New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - need some ls6 heads

does anyone on here have any ls6 heads for sale or know where i can get some used ones for a good price?

average price for used LS6 heads are 450ish if you get the 02+ ones with the hollow and sodium filled valves, 350ish if you get 01 LS6 heads or 799 heads with the solid valves. Other than the valves, they all flow the same. Then you have to factor in machining. It would be a crap shoot to open up a box of used heads and slap them on. You are looking at 200+ to get them checked out, valve job, milling etc, By the time I added it all up to include springs, I ended up just buying a set of new PRC 5.3L stage 2.5 heads with new dual springs for just a few hundred more.

After getting used heads and going thru them you'll be paying more than a set of PRC 2.5 LS6 heads... And they come with double springs. Titanium retainers new valves and so on. I would go to TSP! way better deal and those guys know what they r doin

PRC 2.5 heads from Texas Speed are definitely the best flowing heads for the price. Two thumbs up!
