Default Pump HAS power, Pump DOES work. Install it and it WONT WORK??

Theres power to the fuel sending unit 4prong deal inside.
Theres power to the connector that plugs into the racetronix fuel pump

Plug it in, plug the ground on. Turn the key over... NOTHING

When pluged in, NO POWER OVER THE CONNECTOR

I know the fuel pump works. I took the not fuel pump end of the connector to wire a 9v to see if it'll turn. It worked.

..... EVEN MY OLD PUMP WORKS soo its not a RACETRONIX thing. This is FUGGING dumb.

Anyone think they know the answer?

Just because you can measure voltage with a multimeter, does not mean it has enough current capacity to support the electrical load of the pump.

Try measuring the voltage with the pump connected... it may read near zero.

A bad connection or wire that is nearly broken in half can cause this type of problem.
Check/clean you connections & try again.

Got the wirekit - Thankfully I ordered it early. It WAS a bad few wires. there were cracks and a bit of corrosion on a few places on the positive side of things, grounds looked crappy too. Ill be installing the wirekit here when the sun goes down.
