Well being about a month in and needing a few things already,I decided to try to get everything I need done today.
I had 2 bad studs in the rear so im replacing both rear hubs, all new lugs(get rid of horrible rusty lugs and caps),rear shoes,stop-tech drilled rotors, hawk pads,h&r springs, mightymouse kit,and goodridge lines.
And im also getting these 285's off the back and going with something else.
So far everythings not too bad, minus the pain it is to remove the rear hubs..

Dont have time for the mightymouse spacer kit or stainless brake lines yet.
I'll have to throw them on later.
Will post some pics on the ground when alignments done.

Great looking rotors!

I have bad rubbing on my front drivers side with the H&R springs but I believe that is an anomaly, haven't heard of anybody else having the same issue. No rubbing in back at all though!

Good ole rust belt....

What rear tires did you go with?

That is scary.

I wonder if it was driven on the shoreline (salt water).

I have nitto 555 275 40 18 had to role my lips on the qp but I'm dropped with h&r and had a similar setup to mm bracket in the back. Made the bracket a little shorter and now perfect.

Looks great! What rotors are those?

EDIT: Read the entire first post. Sorry. They're Stop-Tech's.

BTW, you've only started the itch after this mod bug bite. The redness and swelling comes later.

Lol,yea I know that.
Car was from jersey so I suspect from the shore area, but their is no other rust or corrosion on car do weird.
I got it all fixed up today, after another problem with a hard brake line, fixed that and got it aligned up.It looks great, got my wheels blacked out too.
I went with BFG KDW,the old style I had a set laying around not used yet.So far no rubbing but well see.I have pics trying to figure how to upload from my phone.

Looks like you are getting it together.

Nice work.

If you didn't happen to replace or Loctite the hub nuts, double check them in a month or so for tightness. I've had them loosen up twice.

Looks good...nice and low. How does it ride compared to w/o the lowering kit?

Now you can get rid of those good awful yellow fog lights and either go clear or tint them out since you have black rims :)

jsnm

Thanks guys,it rides nice,a little harsh on the bigger bumps, but all in all it rides just as good in my opinion.Other than the fact im scraping the lower black plastic on the bumper everytime in and out of the driveway...
Although,I do admit I miss my trailblazer ss,even though this car gets 10x better mpg,and rides smoother and is a hulluva lot faster.Cant deny I miss the space my truck had and the awd.
