This was a really good run. I thought the lt would get notch because it has went 12.2 @ 114. The lt has some owner ported heads, mild cam, shorty heads and a extreme budget rebuild. The lt had put on some 28" tires that may have hurt him a little. Notch can tell ya what he's got.

I did some weight reduction and got rid of the air pump and a few things so they had to be turned off in the pcm but no changes were made to the factory map other than raisng the rev limiter 200rpm. The car weighs 3200 +or- 40 at times. how ever i do still have exhaust manifolds no headers

Yeah these cars hook well from factory with those gears, my car is hit or miss with the 245s though. Some roads its on the limiter or some roads it dead hooks. Nice to see another fast M6 F-body! As for the longtubes kooks are a real nice piece, what ORY are you using?

HioSSilver
06-12-2012, 02:25 PM
I've been through this batt. shit. it really don't take much to start the car. When it really loads the battery is setting in traffic with the blower goin, wipers wipein, headlights lightin and the radio goin. The really small batteries just don't have the capacity for it. That 680 will reset your trip meter to start the car. You think, huh......not a big deal. When it does that it also resets your fuel trims.

Here are some that LOOK good but I can't get any data or feeback on a street car that is daily driven before I spend the money...

lithium pros C680-super light but expensive. I don't care as long as it works

I've emailed with lithium pro's before. He seemed to think it would do the job and has some running around on ls cars and says they're doin fine. He will cut ya a small deal on the 680 to $475. But you would probably be better off with the bigger one (925).

I have a badass carbon fiber heavy duty (daily driver intended) 20lb battery if anyone is interested. I don't want to cut up my battery tray to make it fit properly because it's half the size. Not with 1100 cold cranking amps though! And it is actually a carbon fiber case. Of course, I was not aware I would have to cutup my battery case to make it work properly as it's only the size of a big motorcycle battery... Lite as hell though! I pick it up with two fingers and giggle every time.
