My brother and I were at a local car hangout chatting with a guy with a 2006 M6 GTO. As he was getting ready to leave, he asked if we wanted to have a freindly run. My brother accepted and we lined up. This race just goes to show that it's all in the setup. Two basically identicle cars with good drivers and a totally different outcome! Both cars started in 2nd gear for the race. The guy even chirped 4th gear at one point while playing around, so he could bang the gears pretty well.

My brothers GTO: M6 with Kooks longtubes, svede intake, and tune

Black GTO: M6 with AEM intake and corsa catback. Untuned.

LOL, it was a solid 3 car difference at least. Thats why when someone says they killed an LS2 GTO, I always want to tell them to come race this one and see how they do.

Haha, wouldn't surprise me! He was pretty confident in his driving before the race from the way he was talking. I'm sure he wants to mod up now after the outcome.

Both cars had 1 passenger, so that aspect was equal.
