TNT F1 ring...stand alone fuel cell....what fuel pump to buy???
I have the Racetronix set up to feed my motor, what should I use for the fuel cell, I plan to use 100 octane in it.
I'm trying to figure pricing on everything.

I know nothing about nitrous. All I can tell you is I want to be able to use the fuel cell with 100 ocatne to feed the 150 wet shot so I can always drive around daily with pump gas "on motor". I have a very experienced nitrous guy installing everything, I just haven't asked him about which pump to get. I'm hoping/expecting my motor to put down about 500 RWHP N/A, if that matters for pump choice..
Here's what I bought from a friend:
kit includes: 75/100/150 hp jets
solenoids which are hardmounted to power ring (easily slips over throttle
body), SLP smooth bellow, 10lb. bottle, auto meter nitrous gauge with extra
hose, blow down tube, MSD window switch with pills ranging from 3000-6800
rpm, Nitrous express bottle heater (never used), throttle activation switch,
and power switch.

Ask them at what fuel pressure the N2O system is calibrated to run at.

TNT is calibrated to run at 50psi. I'm wondering if TNT has done some testing with a low pressure system and posibbly has a jetting chart for a low pressure set up. I might call them about it this week. I've been thinking about a stand alone with the power ring set up also, seems like a low pressure set up would be more reasonable.

Low pressure systems are not as stable / repeatable.
A Walbro GSL392 is usually cheaper than a good carb pump.
HP systems use smaller lines and the FPR is in a more optimal position.
Why are you not running the ring off of the fuel rail with a FM FPR?

Ya, I just did some quick looking at prices at Summit and I think it might actually be cheaper if I went the Walbro route. I didn't see much for high pressure regulators, how much does it normaly cost for a good one that won't creep?
The reason I'm thinking about this is because after I do my drivetrain this summer I hope to have money left for a forged short block this fall. I don't plan on spraying over a 250 shot and TNT says that their Power Ring set up is good for it. However I'm not sure that I could pull fuel off the rail for that kind of HP (on a budget atleast). Just kind of something I'm thinking about right now. What do you think would be the best way to go for someone on a budget ( I was thinking maybe $600 for a stand alone set up). Any more info would be greatly appreaciated.

A Racetronix in-tank system seeing as you have a 1998 F-Body. This will support apx 550RWHP.
Relocate the FPR to the fuel rail and run a dedicated -6 Teflon line as a return.
Remove the regulator in the tank and nip off the tapered nipple that plugged into it.
Relocating the FPR will help stabilize the fuel rail pressure.
If you need more fuel you can always add a MSD or KB pump booster as a PnP option to the Racetronix harness.
Once you have done all this you can run the TNT system off of your rail.
Less mess. One system. Reduced cost.

That's a good idea. I actually have a 2000 Z28. I already have a Walbro pump and I orderd a hot wire kit for it last week so that will help make things cheaper. I'm going to do alittle searching around to see just how much of a benifit it would be to have a stand alone filled with race gas. If it will only allow me to run a few more degrees of timing it probrably won't be worth it for me. Either way, when I do decide to do somethign I'm sure I will be calling you for some parts. Do you stock regulators and pump boosters? Thanks for all your help.
