Which carrier shim kit can I get? I have searched and I cannot get any clear answer.. 7.5... 7.625

This is the one that came up when I searched via vehicle
http://www.jegs.com/i/Motive+Gear/683/1105/10002/-1

This one as similar item
http://www.jegs.com/i/Richmond%20Gear/836/38-0006-1/10002/-1?CT=999

This one searching vehicle, lists that it works for both

Or if there are any others? Sponsors?

TIA

7.5 is the same as 7.625.
a 7.625 rearend has a 7.625 OD ring gear mounted on a 7.5 carrier.
a 7.5 rearend has a 7.5 OD ring gear mounted on a 7.5 carrier.
rearend parts are the same: bearings, seals, shims, etc.

So I can put any of the kits listed for a 4.10 Richmond swap?

all the shim kits are basically the same.
the difficult part is using them to set backlash while having enough preload on the carrier bearings.

Thank you sir. Hopefully this kit will get me set right.

Also, does anyone know the break in procedure for Richmond gears?

I found this:
Street vehicles should be driven at normal street driving speed for approximately 10 miles, then stop and let cool for 30 minutes. Do this 2 to 3 times.

Does this sound right? Anyone with experience?
