ok, now i work with a guy who is really into the import market, and he seems to think he knows quite a bit about this and that (alot of it seems too hard to believe to me) anyways i am posting this and i will copy it and show him to prove i am right, all i am asking is for responces!

question 1: which vehicle is heavier, an 01-02 ss fully optioned or a 03-04 cobra also fully optioned?

question 2: in a quarter mile run, which would win... 95' 6speed supra tt completely stock and with good driver, or an 01-02 ss or z28, also w/6speed, completely stock and a good driver? keeping in mind that both cars are healthy running stock forms!

question 3: what is the fastest recorded and timed stock ls1 to date? running all stock components, no aftermarket lid and stock tires ect... i believe somewhere i read a high 12 second pass, with a 1.9 or so 60' time?!?

im just doing this so i can shut him up, bc when i stated these above things he immediatly threw up his bs flag on me. i just want to show him that i was correct, and that in fact he does not know crap on ls1's and so forth. thanks guys/gals!!!

yea i know its a biased crowd... thats why i went to supra forums to ask too hehe, but its been down for the whole day... oh well... and about the bpu think, my bad! haha, i dont even know why i said that....

im pretty dang sure that SS would be heavier not the cobra. Being a mustang guy (im about to get a z28) i know that while it would be close, the only way to really be sure is to put them both on a scale because the factory rated weights are not accurate. f-bodys and mustangs are generally in the mid to low 3000lbs.

LS1 stock should edge out a stock Supra.

Fastest bone-stock LS1 in the 12.8s, they even tested one in Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords magazine and ran 12s stock.

Everyone knows the new cobras are seriously overweight. I think mustangs SHOULD be in the low 3000's. They'd be really badass then.
