I have a set of 2" kooks with 3 1/2 collectors. My question is, will it fit with the stock rack? I thought I have read somewhere that they wouldn't without smashing one of the primaries. If not I guess I'll be buying a rack.

stock rack and k member and mine fit fine. Once you go aftermarket k member and rack is when people start running into problems

Well I have a umi k mem so might be huh. My whole thing is that I currently am running pacesetter 1 3/4, and well I have an opportunity to sell em, well if I can just throw em on and go I'd do that, if not I'll wait until I build a new motor, but I'm trying to get some good numbers outta my sbe. I no one has any input, I guess I'll just take one off and see if I can get her in there

The shaft was very close to the 1 7/8 stepped to 2 inch headers I had with the stock k member and rack. The 2 inch I can't say.... other then with an aftermarket k member and rack forget about it there's no way it will work.

ARH did a very good job with the #1 primary to make room on the drivers side, but unfortunately the passenger's side is a bitch to get in, it hits the bellhousing ( 4l60 and t56 ) badly when trying ot install, have to grind them a good bit to get the header in (at least with their 1 7/8, I assume the 2 inch would be worse)

I don't know if they're both the same primary length's or not but a kooks passenger side and Arh drivers side would probably work out good as far as fitment... if the primaries are the same length or close enough not to screw with the cyl. bank tuning anyway.

Every camaro I have put 2in kooks on with aftermarket k member the headers hit the steering shaft. I just make a new steering shaft to clear the header and then I dont have to worry about it again. I have never ran them with a stock k member.

If you coudl put a drivers side kooks and arh next to each other you'd see what arh did (the right way) with the #1 routing, it's tucked in against the block alot more.. makes the clearance for the steering shaft alot better.

Passenger's side you could put the 2 next to each other and see why the arh needs the bell housing ground alot to get it up in there too... fwiw.
