East Side Packages tested and ready for sale
First off thanks for every one patiently waiting for our results and testing to finish it,it took much longer than we expected with our shop so busy and trying so many different things.
Second i would like to thank our customers chef, mrbob, keith ss,joe, our staff bill, kevin guy, rich
and most of all Pete at CNC.
I know it sounds like a speech but all these people have put up with a lot from me the last month
Ok the results we tested our ESP1 cam in 4 cars
our ESP stage 3 CNC heads(only available thru us )
1stcar=Chef
2001 ram air m6 mods-slp headers,cats,y pipe,spec clutch,10 bolt 3.73,315 tires,pulley,lid,918 springs,stock retainers,chromemoly push rods,Mti T1 cam
car made 361 sae before our cam
car made 389 sae after with ESP 1
2nd car =mr b
2000 firebird m6 mods-hooker long tubes,y pipe,no cats,spec clutch,10 bolt,absolute heads,hammer cam
car made 394 sae before our cam
car made 414 sae after with ESP 1 will be retuned weds maybe pick up a couple of hp
3rd car= rambird =m6,spec clutch lite steel flywheel, stock rear and tires stock exhuast from y pipe back
2002 ramair car made 329 with lid and filter
car made 360 with our exhuast, our ported mass air flow and our ported throttle body ,added our cam,tit retainer 918 springs chromemoly push rods, asp pulley our ls1 edit
car made 419 sae thru the exhaust and 431 thru cut out\
next we worked with pete and came up with something we wanted to try so we added our ESP stage 3 heads car now makes
439 thru exhaust with stock muffler
459 sae thru cut out/
now keep in mind this cam is not for the weak at heart needs tuning to run right
we have not tested this cam in a auto our ESP2
cam has much less duration and is better suited for that.
we also have a big cube max effort nos cam ESP5 that will be in our 427 cam for spring break.
I hope you can see that for all the non beleivers that a max effort cam needs a max effort exhaust and any body that has been around nascar racing will tell you that exhaust is one of the most important things to deal with .
also our head, cam and exhaust packages when done in house on a 2001 or newer with a m6 will have a money back guarantee that it will make with in 5 percent of rambirds car with the same mods
any other doubters please call and we will be happy to talk to you.thanks for putting up with my long letter
prices
custom headers with merge collectors
off road y pipe with custom merge y collector
1495.95
Stage 3 ESP heads 1995.00 3 sets in stock no wait
time
ESP 2 thru 5 cams 450.00 specs please call

Re: East Side Packages tested and ready for sale
Allright I'll bite Ken!
My Z now makes these numbers thru cats and stock manifolds, I do have a few bolt-ons SLP Loudmoth, SLP Y-pipe, Whisper lid, K&N filter, MAF Translator!
What can U do for me?
I drive this car daily back and forth to work and attend the drags about 8 times a year either at LVD or NED!
I still need to get a Mass state inspection sticker every March and want to be able to still drive the car to both tracks listed without hassle!
Nice numbers by the way!

Re: East Side Packages tested and ready for sale
Well the truth be known I want 10.50's all day long, on pump gas, emission legal, for less than nothing!
Right now I got so many H/C cars arond me putting down 400+ with mucho dinero, I am trying to go as far as the stock long block will take me!
I live in 2 worlds, one where I need a daily driver with good drive qualitys, and in the other where I think I am a Pro Mod driver in the IHRA ranks!
I have a PY3600E lined up to buy from a certain board member, and I am eyeing QTP's LT and Y-pipe set-up!
So now U come along with this new revelation and I am in a major tailspin!

Re: East Side Packages tested and ready for sale
Do you have any results with your stage 3 heads and the ESP-1 cam??? I am very interested in those results, you should throw those in Rambirds car. Also what does a guy like me who lives nowhere near you do to get this ESP-1 cam?? Will you ship it?? Thanks in advance. Nice results by the way.

Nice gains for all your cars. Congrats. Looks like you have some nice setups. Do you make the headers in house, and do you have any pics of them. Thanks,
Bruce

Re: East Side Packages tested and ready for sale
ken,
congrats on the R&D!
can you post up chef's dyno sheet (or email it to me or bob and we can host it). being a cam only car myself, i am very eager to see the torque curve of your new cam, as well as where it makes peak hp and TQ. peak #"s are nice, but i'm more interested in what's under the curve. thanx!!!
oh and didn't chef make 377 with his T1? you should mention that because the T1 is a popular grind that potential customers can use to compare against. the fact that the new cam bested it should help sell it.

Re: East Side Packages tested and ready for sale
scott my 377 that i had dynoed last summer were actual #s a mistake by me as i did not know the difference between the SAE and actual and thats what i put in my sig
now this year i have learned alot and when we checked the PC and got my #s from last year thats when i realized i made the mistake and saw the 361sae
now my car picked up 29 rwhp to the now 389rwhp SAE thats a great gain to me and i wonder how much my cats, gears and 315s really hurt me

So you will guarantee 437 RWHP. That's impressive.
Rarely will you see an A4, even with a locked converter, dyno that high so becareful on the promises to us A4 guys.
