Nitrous Oxide - What is the PSI of your bottle with NOS or ZEX bottle heater?

I dont think i want to spend the extra money to get an NX bottle heater that turns off and on by the actual PSI of the bottle, rather, i am going to pay about 100 bux and get either a ZEX or NOS bottle heater. these, as you know, heat it up to a constant 85 degrees. My question is, what kind of PSI do these models keep your bottle at? I hear they only heat them up to about 800 PSI, rather than 1050 like the NX
The nos heater will warm a full bottle to 950 psi. The more empty your bottle gets the lower the psi at 85 degrees. That's why the nx one is better but way more $$. As long as you don't let you bottle get real low you should be ok.

I dont use the temp sensor with the NOS heater. I just run it with a switch and monitor with the gauge. I like my bottle pressure to be 1150 psi on my dry kit. So I just turn it on when its at 1100 and off at 1150. Just make sure you keep an eye on it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

I just bypassed the temp reader in the nos heater and cut it on and off manually, like 383lq4ss I'd imagine.I've gotten it up to ~1200 before, but boy was that bottle hot, and the wires I had running to the heater were a little too thin and started browning the sleeve on the wire. I don't have a gauge I can readily access, but I'll be getting a pillar pod one that's electric so I don't have to run a line.
