Okay so on my WS6 ive noticed the drivers side mirror drooping more and more, and now today Ive noticed it seems about to fall off :bang: It droops so much that I can visually see that I have a broken bracket. The only problem I have is I have no idea how to dissasemble the mirror so I can fix this! I have tried to take off the 3 bolts from the inside and have had no luck! Can anyone help me here??

I think it's on a tab type setup. Point it all the way down and look in there

It seems like the older these cars get the more issues will happen. Still in a learning phase lol

You have to remove the door panel and then remove the 3 bolts.

Agreed lol!
Ok I did get it disassembled and hopefully liquid nails will do the trick and then Ill wrap it in tape. Thanks all for the input! :usa:

Just take the cover off the inside (the triangle piece) then unbolt the whole thing from the door making sure you disconnect the wiring. The bracket can be taken out. I tried to jb weld mine and it just came back apart so I got one off a wrecked car and just swapped it in.

I also made a metal brace to kind of connect the two peices so with that and wrapping the area up with some tape to give it that extra reinforcement, it should stay. But if all else fails Ill swap it like you did.
