Default Speedo Problems

Ok, I briefly posted something about this another thread I had as a secondary issue that was discovered later. Anyway, a few years ago I had swapped the gauge cluster in my 94 3.4l camaro to one out of an lt1 96 camaro as the original had gone bad. Everything worked fine except for the tach it was reading off a bit which i expected. Now a few years later I have completed my 3.4 to lt1 swap 94-94 conversion from t5 to t56. I had the computer tuned by madtuner for the gears in the new rear(3.42) flashed for the 6spd and the cam and other upgrades done to the engine. Now that I have finally been able to take the car for a test drive I have found the speedo is off by quite a bit; at 25 it reads about 14 and at 50ish it reads around 25-30. Anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing this? I greatly appreciate any help guys.

Also, I was told the rear was stock out of t56 lt1 car so I was assuming the 3.42 gears, but I will be verifying that this weekend.

If my t56 came out of a 93 and everything else is from a 94 could this cause the speedo to be way off? I tried replacing the vss today and that didn't change anything, but i took a look at the service tag while i was under there and the numbers came up as a 1386-000-006. From what i've been able to find that is the "M28". would i need the dakota digital box to change the output?
