Quick Street Shelby... "Lotsa" MPH Yesterday, we took a few customer cars to the track. Conditions weren't great.. 81 degrees and humid.
This car is a full weight street car on "bigs 'n littles". In the past, this car has given us fits wanting to shift at WOT, so you'll notice the throttle blade closing for about a second before the shifts. The 60' was decent, ET was ok, but MPH was awesome! It made (4) 150 mph passes. I can't wait for better weather and the throttle delay removed.
We tested the car on Mickey Thompson slicks followed by drag radials and it actually made the best pass on drag radials.
